American Nurses Association: The ANA is a full-service professional organization of RNs committed to solving the most critical issues that the nursing profession faces - ethics and standards, staffing guidelines, the growing shortage of nurses, patient and nurse health and safety, and workplace rights and responsibilities.

American Nurses Credentialing Center: The ANCC is the world's largest nurse credentialing organization. The ANCC Certification offers a variety of certified nursing educational services.

American Nurses Foundation: The ANF works for patient and nurse safety and health, administers nursing scholarships and research grants, and addresses nursing issues related to multiculturalism and diversity.

International Council for Nursing: This philanthropic group sets global standards and practices for the nursing profession and promotes study and continuing development of nurses around the world.

Minority Nurse: This online resource for the increasing number of minorities in the nursing profession provides educational resources and career development for minority nurses and publishes the Minority Nurse Magazine.

National Association of Hispanic Nurses: The NAHN promotes and encourages Hispanic men and women who are in or hope to enter the nursing profession.

National Association for Practical Nurse Education and Service: The NAPNES boosts the practice, education, and regulation of LPNs and LVNs. The group also accepts RNs as members.
